The Southern Wisconsin Therapy Dog Association is a nonprofit association that came together to provide care and comfort to those in need by using our greatest resource - our canine companions.
We are seeking sponsorship support to help offset key operational expenses, including insurance coverage for our handlers and their dogs, website maintenance and updates, therapy vests, and other costs associated with training and certifying our therapy dog teams.
Currently, our organization includes more than 30 certified handlers and canines, and we are committed to continued growth. As awareness of the benefits of therapy dogs increases, we aim to expand our reach and serve even more individuals and organizations within our community.
We raise funds locally through several community fundraising events held during the summer and do not receive funding from private sources. As a nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on contributions and sponsorships to sustain our programs and services. We are also an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
