The Southern Wisconsin Canine Therapy Dog Association is a nonprofit association that came together to provide care and comfort to those in need by using our greatest resource, our canine companions.
We are an organization that is deeply rooted in the community. Our canines and handlers are visiting schools, courthouses, Agrace Hospice Center, domestic abuse shelters, and many other establishments where a therapy dog can make a difference each and every day.
We are seeking sponsorships for our organization to help cover costs associated with yearly insurance for handlers and their dogs, therapy vests, and other costs that arise with the training and certification of dogs so our program can continue to expand. As of today, we have over forty certified handlers and 39 certified canines. We hope to continue to grow as an organization as more people are seeing and experiencing the benefits of dogs as a therapy resource.
